Finding Chemo
With many fish in the sea
holds promising hope in depths unseen
stemmed from hallmarks of coral and sponges
opens a mission to recover the lungs of our land
by tracing one’s journey in a submarine
Till Death Do We Part
Holding each other hands
surrounded by a chiffon backdrop
and a sermon in-between
I blanket her face with a veil.
Vowing through better and for worse
to love through sickness and in health
she slowly says, “I do”
as she lays in a flower bed, draped in white.
The Butterfly (Gland) Effect
As her wings untie
imbalance rises heart rate
soaring skies in flames
