Not Unbreakable
Can I please take a break
from being strong today? Can I not be the rock—
just for a little while? Can there be someone
for me to lean on,
without needing to explain
why I’m tired?I’ve stood tall
for what feels like forever,
held everything together
with quiet hands
and a steady breath. But I am not unbreakable.
I need to stop,
to be still
before I fall.Let today
be the day
I don’t have to carry it all.

“I wrote this because sometimes even the strongest among us need a moment to rest—to admit we’re tired, to ask for support without needing to explain. This is for anyone carrying more than they show. It’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to pause.”
