Congruity
Our brain’s chemistry is related
To our bodies need,
The connections thrive,
Decreased cortisol
Will allow our hippocampi
Not to get chopped up,
To remember all we want
To recall.
I don’t have estrogen
You give me yours,
Our brains connect,
Our collaboration strengthens
I’m a hard pillow
And need to be smoothed.
The connections between our brains
The connections we forge together
Inter-brain coupling
How we resonate together.
We partner with each other
To gladly partake of
Life’s Pleasures
To watch the ebb and flow
Of our own designs.
I move an arm,
You move yours,
I’m sad,
You cry
All that I am
Is from who you are.
