Two Poems by Peggy Shumaker

Kate Koplow is an essayist and poet from Concord, Massachusetts. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California, as she finishes up her degree in Comparative Literature at Occidental College. Kate is most interested in writing about chronic illness, mental health, and philosophy.

Unraveling

Pamela Ahlen is Special Events Coordinator for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Dartmouth. She compiled and edited Osher’s Anthology of Poets and Writers: Celebrating Twenty-Five Years at Dartmouth and is the author of the chapbook Gather Every Little Thing (Finishing Line Press) and the co-author (with Anne Bower) of Getting it Down on Paper, Shaping a Friendship (Orchard Street Press).

Elixir for a Perpetual Caretaker

Katherine DiBella Seluja is the author of three poetry collections, most recently, Point of Entry (UNM Press, 2023) which focuses on issues of immigration and ancestry. Katherine has worked as a nurse practitioner in multiple pediatric settings and currently is employed by Presbyterian Hospital in northern New Mexico. Her website is: katherineseluja.com.

Two Poems by Annette Sisson

Annette Sisson’s poems are published in Valparaiso PR, Birmingham PR, Rust+Moth, Lascaux Review, Cider PR, Glassworks, Aeolian Harp Anthology, and others. Her first book Small Fish in High Branches was published by Glass Lyre (5/22), and she is finishing her second, Winter Sharp with Apples. Her poems have placed in Frontier New Voices, The Fish Anthology, and others; in 2023, two have been nominated for The Pushcart and one for Best of the Net.

Night Nurse

Matthew Kohut has worked as a writer, teacher, and musician. His poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Tar River Poetry, River Heron Review, and The Dewdrop, among other publications. He is the co-author of two books of nonfiction. His poem first appeared in River Heron Review issue 6.2.
