Dark Life
–written upon awakening from a major surgery
How dance must you upon my bed
Needs rest must I my weary head
Oh nurse must you my prison hold
My savior, yes, as be so bold
Suffered pain is want of me
Muscle torn , torn limb agree
Deep dread the surgeon knife I flee
Cut deep the blade , my dreams cut me
Nurse dance must you upon my bed
Hark is the night my bed must rest
change your way, of me leave free
As hallucinatory dream chase me
My return of me from hellish night
Day doth dawn, tells of my plight
Onward ,forward day must dread
No dance must you upon my bed
