Even a bout of Covid could not keep me from the chance to interview the marvelous Cate Lycurgus!
Interview Part 1
Interview Part 2
[How bout you come ] —Written and read aloud by Ms. Lycurgus.
love me now
that I’ve bleached
my hands past harm?
That I can handle
rough. All the nights
stroking his next
breath, coaxing the fire –
polished eyelet past
sphincter,
for urine to gold –
rush forth. What
don’t we owe
our begetter?
I fork each egg
over, nugget by curd,
here on the lane
behind Safeway, acacias’
pollen every place —
I slip my palms
in the slot
of my thighs,
sideways, waiting
for sleep to
come, love me now
that all of my days
have fallen
through, tender all
I know how to do
