Five Poems from Robert Carr

Before turning to poetry, Robert Carr administered infectious disease programming with The Massachusetts Department of Public Health. He is the author of Amaranth, published by Indolent Books, and two full-length collections published by 3: A Taos Press – The Unbuttoned Eye and The Heavy of Human Clouds. His poetry appears in many journals and magazines including the Greensboro Review, Lana Turner Journal, the Massachusetts Review and Shenandoah. Fall / Winter Poetry Contest (Winner Receives a $200 Dollar Prize) Submissions open from October 1st-February 28th

We are pleased to announce our Fall/Winter poetry contest (October 1st – February 28th). The winner will receive a $200 Dollar Prize. The 1st and 2nd runners up will have their poem published on www.medmic.com for 6 months and receive commentary from the contest judges. The winner will also have the option of promoting their work through a video interview on www.medmic.com.
